Hasil belajar matematika siswa SMP Kelas VII pada materi aljabar dengan menggunakan strategi joyful learning

This research is a Classroom Action Research (PTK) which aims to improve the mathematics learning outcomes of grade VII students on algebra using the Joyful Learning Strategy. The subjects in this study were 31 students of class VII B MTSN 2 Bengkulu Tengah. Data collection techniques in this research include observation, interviews, tests and documentation. The application of the joyful learning strategy is carried out in 1 cycle consisting of the planning stage, the implementation stage, the observation stage and the reflection stage. The results of the pre-cycle research showed that the class average value obtained was 26.41%, after being given action in the first cycle using a joyful learning strategy, there was an increase in learning outcomes with a class average score of 64.52% with students who completed as many as 24 students or 77.41%. These results indicate that there is an increase in student learning outcomes with the application of joyful learning strategies, so it can be concluded that joyful learning strategies can improve student mathematics learning outcomes.
